Our first writing piece is published and today, we celebrated!
Sugar Rush.
The kids spent about 35 minutes reading their classmates personal narratives and leaving comments on the 'Kudos' paper next to each one. At the end, each student had their own personal narrative and a nice list of compliments from their classmates.

Our next writing unit is in Realistic and Social Action Fiction. The students will be learning how to write a fictional story based off of a theme they want to convey in their writing.
