Yesterday afternoon, Matt Wilhelm (a BMX Biker, America's Got Talent Semi-Finalist, 3-Time X Games Medalist, 2-Time National Champion, World Championship Silver Medalist, 30 Seconds to Fame $25,000 winner, and Top Pro for over 10 years) was at Horizon. In addition to preforming some sweet bike moves for the kids - like climbing a wall, spinning like a tornado and yes, jumping over some teachers - he talked to the kids about what it was like for him growing up, always being called "Ears."
His message was simple - those people who try to bring you down don't need to be in your life. Find something you're passionate about and stick with it. Never give up on your dream and don't let anyone tell you that you can't do what you love.
