Ancient Egypt

Ancient Egypt, a civilization that has captured our minds and our imagination is starting to wind down in the world of Mr. Finn's Social Studies Class. Yesterday the study guides for the test went home. As promised, the study guide is harder than the test, and there is nothing on the test that is not on the study guide. Our Ancient Egypt test will be next Friday, October 1st. Nice way to bring in the new month!

In addition to the study guide as a way for the students to review, they will be creating and building their own board game. It will be a group project with most of next week dedicated to it. Students will be graded on their final product, how well they worked together as a team, and how others rate their game (basically, did they have clear enough directions so others could play it without asking them?).
