High School Mentors

Today we had a group of high school students from the ABC Club (Anti-Bullying Club) come in and give a presentation to the kids. 

They played a cool 'stand up' game where they would read off a statement and the students had to stand up if it applied to them. It was designed to show the kids that they are never really alone when going through different situations. There is always someone who has been through it before and can relate. 

The high school kids even made themselves available to talk to in the future if the kids have any questions about middle school, high school, social issues, or anything that they are nervous about. They would be a mentor for the kids, or a mediator if a problem arises. Pretty sweet deal!
