The students will be meeting author and illustrator Mark Crilley on February 6th. To prepare them for it, we visited his website today (http://www.markcrilley.com/), took a look at his drawings on youtube and talked about his style of writing. Brody's Ghost, one of his books, has also started to make the rounds among our students.
The kids also have the opportunity to purchase one of Mark Crilley's books and get it autographed. The order form was sent home today and there is a digital copy of it on our fusion page.
Thanks to Stephanie, who won the school raffle for a free recess (twice!), the kids cashed in on the warm weather with an extended recess today. We hope you had as great a day as they had out there. Happy Monday Everyone!
