Today your student will be bringing home a pink permission form (yes, the second in two days) for our end of the year field trip to Chicago! Yes, we're going to ChiTown (Go Bears!).
The field trip is on Tuesday, June 8th. Your child will have to be at school early that day (by 7:30) and will have to be picked up at 4:30 at Horizon. We will have cell phones with us incase we are running late to notify you. Students will need a to bring a bag lunch as well.
We will be spending the day at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. The cost of the field trip is $29.00, however, that includes the bus fare (Coach buses), admission to the museum, and a ticket to see the Omnimax show. Each class will need about 7 chaperones for the trip. Chaperones will be selected on a first come first serve basis. Simply indicate that you wish to attend on the permission form and send along an additional $29.00. The permission form and the money must both be received in order to be selected. This is the standard 6th grade policy.
Field trip permission forms are due May 7th.
