It is the beginning of the last full week of school for 2009, as next week is a short week. After that, we all take a little winter break and return in 2010!
For those that read this tonight (or tomorrow morning before school) here are your Sitton Spelling Words for this week: Nose, Century, therefore, level and you'll. Pretest is tomorrow.
For Parents: Progress Reports were sent home today with your child. This time I am not requiring a signature, but please be aware that they are coming home tonight!
This week we will be working on persuasive letter writing and intrepreting poetry in writing and reading. Our Ancient India test was postponed until tomorrow, giving all of you one more day to study for it. Know the study guide and the test will be a piece of cake.
For those student's in my math group, you will not have any homework this week, or next, due to your restaurant projects. You are certainly free to work on them at home, but classtime should adequate.
